About the Site

We are a small, quiet, 5 pitch site, just 2 miles off the NC500 and 8 miles south of Wick.

Being located right on the scenic East Coast of The Highlands, we have fantastic views across the North Sea and Moray Firth. We are open all year and offer large, level, hard standing pitches with easy access.

Each of the hard standing pitches are 10m x 6m with an additional grassed area of pitch for your awning, which is 4m wide. Each pitch also has electric hook up. There is fresh water, grey water and toilet disposal in our utility area, along with rubbish and recycling facilities.

As we are affiliated to the Caravan and Motorhome Club, you will need to be a member to stay with us. You will also need to be self contained, as we do not have showers or toilets.

The fee for a pitch is £20 a night; EHU is metered if you opt to have it (and is in addition to the pitch fee). There are no hidden extra charges for occupants, awnings, cars or dogs. (max 2 only unless by prior arrangement).

You will also have the pleasure of staying in the very close proximity of our eight alpacas, as this is where we run North Coast 500 Alpacas from. See the website for further info www.northcoast500alpacas.co.uk

The John o' Groats trail runs right past our doorstep, so there's plenty of walking for you and your dog straight from the site.

We regularly spot dolphins, seals and deer from the site and less often Orca are sighted. The Northern Lights are spectacular when they are on show - generally in the winter months.

We also have a picnic area on the site where you can have use of our log burner for a cosy evening, enjoying the magnificent sea views on the light summer nights.

For info, being located on the east coast, we do not suffer from the dreaded midge like the west coast does.

There is a pub serving food approx 1.5 miles up the road along with local transport to Wick, Thurso, Golspie and the surrounding areas.

The Haven is a stones throw away and is somewhere where you can just sit and watch, or listen to the waves. For those who are adventurous enough, you could launch your kayak or SUP from the pebble beach to see the caves and fabulous cliffs.

Please note; check in is between 13:00hrs and 20:00hrs unless by prior arrangement only.

Quiet time is between 22:00hrs and 07:00hrs.
